Season 109 - WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION !!!

WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!!!

Season 109 had a difficulty of 51, but despite being a relatively easy season, the top of the tables was not filled with quizzers who all had perfect seasons up until day 12. In fact, only 5 quizzers managed to get 12 + points which is very unusual. This was not because there were a few very difficult questions were everyone failed – in fact only 3 questions had a difficulty below 30 which is also very unusual. Rather, the reason for this was the very nice spread of topics your quizmaster, Braca Kundalić, had prepared for you. The key to making a great quiz is not to make very difficult questions, but to ask questions in a wide range of topics and find everybody’s weakness. Therefore, in my book Braca made an excellent set of questions. And luckily you agree with me, because Braca’s questions received a 3.9 average rating from you all. Well done, Braca and thank you for your contribution. And now it is time to announce the winner, because one quizzer did actually manage to get all fourteen questions right. On the last day of the season, three quizzers, Duncan, Mads and Sander, were left with thirteen points each, but who knew the inflation index  named after Georgia’s national dish. It doesn’t happen often, but Duncan drew a blank and had to pass. Mads answered Kapuri, and though that is very close to the correct answer, it was not close enough. Sander on the other hand knew the answer which gave him his first perfect season ever and his first championship. Congratulations, please give him a big round of applause!
