Season 93 happened to be one of the easier seasons in general. At one point there were 41 correct answers and another point it was as low as 9. At the end of 10 days Duncan, Tony, Kathy, Prabash, Jon, Laruchka & Oli were leading the pack. However, at the end of day 14, Duncan, Tony, Bob and Kathryn were in a tie for the top spot. Duncan and Kathy both had the chance to win the season straightaway. Duncan was wondering about the band who won 8 Grammy’s. Kathryn could not recall the colour blind test invented by the Japanese scientist. So it was the time to go for the tie-breaker, again. Contestants were asked to name the gold medalists of the 100m men’s event at Olympics. Tony came up with 9 correct answers. Bob managed to answer 12 correctly. And Kathy, after missing the championship because of the colour blind test managed to come up with 14 correct answers. There have been 25 athletes altogether who became the fastest person at Olympics. After missing the top spot because of “Santana’, Duncan managed to recall 16 out of 25 athletes correctly. And that gave Duncan a fair and square two point lead over Kathy at the tie-breaker question. Therefore Duncan is our new champion and this is his second championship. His first came in just two seasons back. Congratulations, Duncan!!! Please give him a big round of applause!
