Season 113 - Day 7 of 14
Nazi Germany
What was the slogan used by the Hitler Youth in the 1930s and 40s?
The three word motto was inspired Alfred Rosenberg's work The Myth of the 20th Century. The slogan was also the title of a Hitlerjugend song book, it was embossed in the belt buckle of their uniform and it was engraved on the blade of their pocket knives.
It is illegal to use the slogan in its original form in present day Germany, but using the English translation of the motto is not subject to legal penalty.
