Located in South America, this is one of the few Caribbean countries that is not an island of the West Indies.
It's name translates as 'land of many waters' and the country boast many waterfalls: one waterfall there is 5 times the height of Niagara Falls.
The cost of living is so high that more than half its citizens emigrate, though in the 1970s an American cult migrated there and created the infamous Jonestown.
