This drink, consisting of a 50:50 mixture of beer and Sprite was created by innkeeper Franz Kugler during the great cycling boom of the Roaring Twenties.
Kugler created a bicycle trail that lead from Munich through the woods directly to his inn.
The name of the drink was inspired by his clientele.
