Season 136 - Day 8 of 14

Towns and Cities

13 December is Saint Lucy's Day. It is a celebration of light in the darkest time of the year.
According to the legend, Saint Lucy brought food and aid to Christians hiding in the Roman catacombs, wearing a candle lit wreath on her head to light her way and leave her hands free to carry as much food as possible.
Today, children in the Scandinavian countries and certain parts of Italy dress up in white gowns and go in procession while carrying candles and singing songs in honor of the virgin martyr.
Saint Lucy is a patron saint for the blind and for her home town on Sicily. Which city did Saint Lucy come from?
