Rhetoric

”I Have a Dream” was a speech delivered by American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. in 1963. The speech is widely hailed as a masterpiece of rhetoric.
Throughout the speech, Doctor King repeatedly begins sentences with the words “I have a dream”. This is a common and powerful rhetorical device.
