Name the French artist, born in Paris in 1848, who spent ten years living in French Polynesia towards the end of his life.
He created works of sculpture, engravings and ceramics; but is probably best known for his paintings, especially for his use of colour (often yellowish tints).
Famous pieces include Tahitian Women on the Beach (1891) and The Yellow Christ (1889).
