Season 108 - Day 11 of 14

This 19th century novel is notable for its unromantic portrayal of criminals and their sordid lives, as well as for exposing the cruel treatment of the many orphans in London in the mid-19th century.
Its alternative title, The Parish Boy's Progress, alludes to John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim's Progress, as well as William Hogarth, A Rake's Progress and A Harlot's Progress.
It has been adapted for various media, including a highly successful musical play, and a multiple Academy Award-winning 1968 motion picture of the same name.
In 1988 Walt Disney Feature Animation also adapted this story into an animated musical film. What is the title of this book which is an early example of the social novel?
