Mesopotamian Mythology

Known as the 'Queen of Heaven", Inanna was an ancient Mesopotamian goddess associated with love, sex, war, beauty, justice and political power.
She was the patron goddess of the temple of E-anna in the Sumerian city of Uruk, and one of the eight gates to city of Babylon was named for her.
But what name did the Babylonians know her by?
