Which ancient Sumerian ruler is the protagonist of an epic poem that is considered one of the earliest surviving works of literature in the world?
This king is known for his great strength and bravery, and the poem tells the story of his many adventures and quests.
One of the major events in the poem is the journey of the king to the underworld, in which he comes to the aid of the goddess Inanna and drives away the creatures infesting her huluppu tree.
