It is time for a bit of news. This time I want to give you a little sneak peak of the upcoming android app. To give you a better sense of what the app will look like, I have attached a few screenshots.
The first version of the app will have the basic functionality of the daily quiz on the website. There are certain features from the website that you will not get at the beginning, like the forum, the statistics and the chat-function, but other features in the app will give you a better quizzing experience.
For instance, you only need to log in once, after that, the app will remember you. You will get a daily notification at 12 AM (CET) if you haven’t already answered the question (this is a feature that many of you have asked for), and the leaderboard will update quicker (within a couple of minutes). We still have a few minor bugs we need to iron out, and a couple of minor adjustments we need to add, but twe are very close to shipping the app off to Google for approval.
After that, we will turn our attention to website to kill the very annoying bug that has been gnawing away on your patience lately. And after that, we will adjust the Android version of the app so we can get the rest of you on board with a prober IOS version. 2021 looks like it is going to be the year where Quizzypedia finally takes off.
