Just like Season 105, Season 106 was on the easy side. This time the average difficulty was 55. The two most difficult questions came on day 13 (Ballooning) and 14 (Hong Kong Dessert) with difficulties of 13 and 23, respectively.
When looking at your ratings, you were quite happy with the questions. Your average rating landed on 3,8 out of 5. Your least favorite question came on Day 5 (the Danish Badminton player – rating 3,2) and your favorite question fell on Day 11 (British Monarchy – rating 4.1). I would like to thank Rishabh Gupta for supplying this excellent set of questions. That the set was a little on the easy side is entirely on me, as I wanted to include more hints in the questions than needed.
When a set is on the easy side, it is always crowded at the top of the tables. And that proved to be the case this time too. On the final day of the season six players were just one point shy of a perfect season and with no one going the full distance we were in for another tie-break. Bob T., Duncan, Dorian, Hendrik, Jens and Lars had to name as many tracks as possible on Bruce Springsteen’s 1995 Greatest Hits compilation. The question was who was really the boss of The Boss. It was a tight race between Dorian (6), Hendrik (7) and Bob (8). Lars did very well by naming 10 songs, but Jens turned out to be just a little Togher Than The Rest. With 11 points Jens is our new champion. This is Jens’ third championship. Please give him a big round of applause!
