No, wait... Actually we don’t, but we will. And a brand new one at that, but more on that a bit later. First a bit about the season. I would like to commend John Robinson on an excellent season with a very good spread of questions. The average difficulty of the season was 51 which is as close to the perfect 50 as you can get and only on question – the last of the season – dipped below a difficulty of 20. Conclusion, none of the questions were impossible, but the spread of the topics made it almost impossible to get them all right, and as it turns out... no one did.
Two players did, however, get very close. Dhruv Sharma and Phil Denman both got 13 points, and that meant that the two players had to go head to head in a tie-break. This time the topic was Formula One champions since 1980. Unfortunately, the two players managed to get the same amount of points, but by the time I found out, it was already passed midnight in Australia (where Phill lives). Therefore, Dhruv and I agreed that it would be most fair if we set a new deadline for the tie-tie-break at 18.00 CET today. The topic for the new tie-break – Formula One drivers who have only won the Championship once. Because we agreed to bend the rules like this, the winner will not be announced before later time tonight. The only thing we do know is that we will have a brand new champion as neither Dhruv or Phil has won the league before. And we do know one more thing. Both players played tremendously well. So please give them big round of applause. They both deserve it, no matter who will win.
