This season was fairly easy... The average difficulty was 55 and just one question dipped below 20 but with an additional 4 questions below 30, there were plenty of traps for you guys to get caught in. As you know the excellent set of questions were made by Flemming Borg Nielsen. Please give him a big hand – I hope he will be up for making another set at some point in the future. The set was easy yes, but not so easy that anyone had a perfect season. Three quizzers got close, though. Duncan missed the Spanish author, Ronny didn’t know the American Talk Show Host and Sander wasn’t up to date on German politics. 13 points each and a tie-break question was needed. The topic this time... identifying the 14 countries with the highest average elevation. Ronny correctly identified 6 countries, but unfortunately also mentioned 4 countries that were just outside the list. He ended on 2 points. Sander managed to come up with 8 countries and all of them were on the list. Duncan mentioned a total of 12 countries... surely that would get him the trophy. At least it would if they all turned out to be correct... but they weren’t... Georgia is number 15 on the list and subtracts a point from Duncan’s score. However, that does not change the fact that Duncan finished with mor points than his two rivals. Therefore, Duncan is our new champion. This is Duncan’s 7th championship – a quite amazing feat. Please give him a big round of applause!
