What is a bit more unusual is that Team Belgium is in second place in front of the English and what is even more unusual is that the Belgians have more players than Team England. The Danes extended their lead. They are now 19 points in front of England in second place. That means that the English have pushed Team Belgium to third place, but it should be noted that the Belgians have a perfect average – all nine players have 3 points! Day 7 update
Denmark is still in the lead, but the English are gaining ground. If Team England have a strong second week as they usually do, they might very well secure their second trophy this season. Belgium is third and a safe bet would be, that that will be their position next Sunday too. Which team will finish fourth on the other hand is completely up in the air. Day 12 update
Midway through the season I predicted that the English might steal the trophy from the Danes in a strong second week. And Team England did gain on Team Denmark, but only one point and that will not be nearly enough to reach the Danes before the season is over.
In fact, the Belgians almost stand a better chance at beating the English because their score the past five days is incredible. 9 players 43 points – Wow! It is also worth noting that the Lankans had some really good days too, so good in fact, that they move past the Aussies. Will they stand their ground? We will know in two days...
